Children decided we need a Ferris wheel in Arboretum Park to attract more tourists. They researched different designs of Ferris Wheels before designing and making their own Ferris Wheel. They even had the chance to write a pursuasive letter to the Youth Mayor of Derby encouraging him to take their idea on board! This was a great project enjoyed by all children where they learnt their key Design and Technology skills of research, design, make and evaluate.
